What type of clothing should I wear for my massage?

In general, Swedish massage is performed skin to skin. Meaning you do not wear any clothing for your treatment.  So don’t worry about what to wear! You will be securely covered under sheets and blankets. Only the area the therapist is working on will be uncovered at any given time. If this is uncomfortable for you, options are available for massage with clothing using compressions, stretch and other techniques. You can talk about these options with your therapist.

Where should I park?

Parking is available directly in front of our office. In the event the lot is full there are also spaces available around the corner along Mary St (in front of our building), as well as the large community Parking Lot a short walk across Mary St.  You are also able to park along Perry St. for up to 3 hours if you are comfortable just parking on the street.

It’s my first appointment, is there anything I can do to prepare?

Yes, please go to our DOWNLOADS page. Please print and fill out the HEALTH HISTORY form. Bring this completed form with you to your first appointment. Don’t worry if you can’t print this form. You can arrive 10-15 minutes early for your appointment to complete the form at the time of your treatment!

I don’t like talking during my massage, how can I tell my therapist?

When you fill out your initial health history form there is a place to indicate your talking preference. In general, our therapist our trained to follow your lead. If you just don’t talk in your treatment, nor will we!  Also, never be afraid to tell us that you just feel like being quiet and relaxing, even if generally you like to talk. We would never be insulted as we want your massage to be perfect!

Should I arrive early for my treatment?

Yes, It never hurts to arrive a few minutes early for your treatment. We know massage time is precious time. When you arrive a few minutes early, our therapists are able to get you onto the table in a timely fashion so that your “hands on” time can be as close to the full duration of the time you booked as possible.

What if I am late?

If you are late you can still receive massage therapy for the remainder of your allotted time. Unfortunately, we will still have to charge you for the full duration of the appointment that you booked.

I missed my appointment, what now?

Give us a call and let us know. We are human too! Our policy is that missed appointments are billed at full charge, however, we make exceptions for illness, emergency, and just plain making a mistake.
If you miss more then 3 appointments you will be required to pay for your treatments at the time of booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations. Exceptions are made for special circumstance, illness and emergencies.
